FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, specifically to a haemostatic agent based on polyvinylpyrrolidone, comprising a polymer material and a complex of biologically active components, characterized in that as a polymer material it contains high-molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone Polydon A-1 with molecular weight of 2.0–4.5 MDa in amounts sufficient to obtain gel based thereon, and as biologically active components it contains up to 8 wt% haemostatic and up to 2 wt% of antimicrobial agents in relation to polyvinylpyrrolidone Polydon A-1 and also relates to a method for producing haemostatic agent.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides wider range of haemostatic agents of local action, with marked haemostatic action due to minimum complex of active substances, optimally selected, and in an amount sufficient to achieve maximum effect.
