FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: hemostatic wound cover containing bacterial cellulose synthesized by the Medusomyces gisevii Sa-12 symbiotic culture in the form of a sponge containing up to 10% of hemostatic and up to 3% of antimicrobial agents with respect to bacterial cellulose is described. A method to obtain a wound cover, including formation of a biopolymer material in the form of bacterial cellulose by Medusomyces gisevii Sa-12 symbiotic culture synthesis in the form of a sponge, and freeze drying of the obtained sponge plate to a humidity of 0.1% to 35.0%.
EFFECT: wound cover and the method provide the maximum hemostatic effect in case of bleeding under conditions of mass people injury with simultaneous simplification of manufacturing technology.
