SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of furnaces for fuel combustion. Control system for NOx reduction in power plant includes controller-predicting controller, proportional integral-differential controller and/or adaptive controller, which are subordinated to model-predicting controller, are functionally connected to it and contain feedback circuit. Invention also includes a NOx reduction system comprising a feed tank with a NOx reducing agent and a water supply tank. Fuel combustion furnace is located downstream of the NOx reduction system and is equipped with a plurality of nozzles hydraulically connected to the NOx reduction system. Control system is electrically connected to NOx reduction system.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of NOx in gases leaving the furnace.
