FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in rotary internal combustion engines. Essence of invention consists in the fact that four-stroke spherical internal combustion engine with rotary rotor contains spherical inner cavity 3, divided by disc web 6 into side 5 and central 4 spherical segments, making Hooke's joint inside housing, which forms with walls of spherical cavity of variable volume chamber, and gas distribution and ignition mechanism. In the invention the spherical inner cavity 3 is located in rotating rotor 2. Hooke's joint is formed by side 5 and central 4 spherical segments with disk partition 6. At that, central spherical segment 4 is fixed on housing 1. Gas distribution and ignition mechanism is installed on the central spherical segment 4. In central spherical segment there are cutouts forming compression chambers 36, 37.
EFFECT: technical result achieved by the proposed technical solution consists in expansion of the range of technical means realizing its designation in the form of an internal combustion engine.
