PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETER MONITORING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B3/16

Abstract RU 2706138 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device for monitoring a physiological parameter, particularly for detecting changes in intraocular pressure, comprising: first element in form of contact lens, having inner surface and outer surface opposite to inner surface, wherein at least the outer surface is configured to contact the eye tissue, in particular the eyelid tissue, the second element in the form of a contact lens having an inner surface and an outer surface opposite the inner surface, wherein at least an inner surface is configured to contact an eye tissue, in particular at least a cornea and/or a lachrymal film thereon. First element and the second element are attached to each other in the peripheral attachment area, thus embracing the intermediate space. Device further comprises passive sensing means which form a resonance circuit for detecting changes in said physiological parameter. Passive receiving means are made only in the first element in the form of a contact lens or on it. Said intermediate space is filled with dielectric material having a value of (εr ) relative dielectric permeability is less than value of relative dielectric permeability of lachrymal film and/or tissue of eye at ambient temperature.

EFFECT: use of the invention provides correct tight fitting of the lens with respect to the eye surface with achieving the required system sensitivity to eye surface deformations.
