FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to metallurgical methods of manufacturing superconducting articles. To achieve this result, disclosed is a method of producing superconducting articles, in which a workpiece is formed by filling a metal shell with powder from a ground mixture of magnesium and boron, method includes cold deformation of formed workpiece to preset thickness, cold-deformed blank is subject to short-term impact-wave processing at plasma-focus installation.
EFFECT: use of invention makes it possible to manufacture superconducting products with high current-carrying capacity.
