FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing magnesium nitridoboride (MgNB9) and composites based thereon. MgNB9 can be used in short-wave optoelectronics and high-temperature, high-power and high-frequency electronic devices. Method of producing ceramic powder material based on magnesium nitride-boride (MgNB9), involving preparation of a reaction mixture consisting of powders of magnesium and boron in molar ratio of components Mg:B equal to 1/9 ≤ Mg/B ≤ 3.6/9, synthesis under effect of temperature and gas pressure. Prepared mixture is placed in a reactor, synthesis is carried out in combustion mode in a nitrogen atmosphere at nitrogen pressure 0.5 < PN2 < 6.0 MPa.
EFFECT: disclosed method enables to obtain ceramic powder material based on magnesium nitride boride MgNB9 with low operating costs, including without electric power consumption for heating the reaction mixture.
