FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of securing and retaining electric cables. Cable clamp consists of U-shaped bracket with fastening element, fixed and movable semi-cylindrical semi-clamps, which are connected to each other along inclined plane inclined relative to vertical by means of outward bent lateral support sides, wherein stationary half-choke with ends of side longitudinal support sides is rigidly fixed inside lateral sides of U-shaped bracket, on which, opposite to each other, between fixed half-yoke and fastening element there are slots for attachment of clamp to support, wherein edges of U-shaped bracket side walls behind fixed half-yoke are bent inward at angle of inclination of semi-yoke coupling plane with formation of guide grooves between them and longitudinal sides of fixed semi-yoke for installation of longitudinal side support sides of movable half-yoke in them.

EFFECT: higher reliability of clamp operation at load amplification.
