FIELD: washing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a silicone-based antifoaming composition for use in a powdered detergent that is intended for washing laundry in an automatic washing machine to prevent excessive foaming. Composition contains a liquid siloxane component and a hydrophobic finer filler. At that, the silicone antifoaming agent composition consists of a mixture of linear, branched and cyclic oligodimethylsiloxanes with trimethylsiloxy- and hydroxy groups with kinematic viscosity at 20 °C from 150 to 400 mm²/s, and content of hydroxyl groups of 0.24–0.32 % – 14–17 wt%, mixture of quaternary ammonium salts of high-molecular compounds of fatty series – 2-2.5 wt%, methyl siliceum – 0.5–1.0 wt%, a mixture of sodium methyl siliconate and sodium ethyl siliconate, taken in ratio of 1:1.5 – 1.5–2.5 wt%, and sodium carbonate or sodium sulphate – 77–82 wt%.

EFFECT: obtaining a loose composition of an antifoaming agent with improved defoaming properties, high storage resistance, use of the proposed defoamer reduces harmful effect on metal parts of washing machines.
