FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents for control of foaming, intended for use in detergents and detergent compositions. The described granulated antifoaming composition has: (1) an antifoaming agent comprising (a) a hydrophobic fluid medium which has a surface tension greater than the dynamic surface tension of an aqueous dispersion of a detergent at a concentration of micelles in a surfactant which exceeds a critical value, but less than 62 mN/m, or equal to, and (b) a finely dispersed solid hydrophobic filler dispersed in a hydrophobic fluid, and (2) siloxane wax as a binding agent and (3) a carrier, wherein the carrier particles comprise substantially 40% by wt % to 90 wt % the granular product, the hydrophobic fluid is substantially between 5wt % -to 50 wt % of the granular product, the hydrophobic filler (b) is 0.5-50 wt % of the weight of hydrophobic fluid (a), concentration of the binding agent is 10 - 200 wt % from the weight of hydrophobic foam-suppressing fluid (a).
EFFECT: invention provides higher defoaming activity of detergents and detergent compositions.
