FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and poultry keeping. Disclosed is a method for increasing resistance, meat and egg productivity of poultry head, in particular broiler chickens and laying hens in commercial poultry industry, involving use of antioxidants in poultry rations, wherein antioxidant of polyphenol structure is used – sodium salt of [poly-(2,5-dihydroxyphenylene)]-4-thiosulphonic acid, which is introduced into feedstuff, mash feed or other types of fodder mixtures and/or products for birds at rate of 50–100 g/t product, adding 2.5–10 mg/kg of body weight to the bird drinking system individually, wherein the broiler chickens and the other poultry raised for meat – from the first day to the slaughtering, to the laying hens and the egg direction bird – for the first two months from the first day of life, and then during the whole period of productive use of livestock.

EFFECT: invention allows to expand the range of antioxidant agents used in poultry keeping, increase the daily meat poultry meat gain, accelerate the egg direction to the egg production peak and prolong productive use, increase of general organism resistance to negative effects of environment and diseases, survival rate of livestock, increase of productivity, improvement of quality and ecological safety of meat.
