Essence of the invention is that the feed of chickens from their 10-day old age to their sexually mature age as well as of laying hens includes a sol, or a gel or a powder of amorphous hydrothermal nanosilica at a concentration of 0.0125–0.2 % in solid SiO2 at a particle diameter of 5–100 nm.

EFFECT: implementation of the invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of poultry growing when fattening chickens with a reduction in the timing of their fattening, to increase the egg productivity of laying hens, to reduce the waste of eggs in the production process, to improve the quality of eggs, to maintain the number of chickens in fattening and laying hens in the production of eggs.
