METHOD FOR ASSESSING THE RISK OF SIDE EFFECTS FROM THE USE OF MUCOLYTICS IN RESPIRATORY DISEASES OF BOVINE ANIMALS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/08 

FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science, namely to pulmonology, and can be used for diagnosing side effect of mucolytics in respiratory diseases of cattle. Every day, in the period of using mucolytics in the tracheophonogram, the level of sounds is determined at control frequencies of 200, 750, 1,000 and 1,400 Hz. Absence of side effect of mucolytics is stated at tendency of approximation of studied sound level to parameters of healthy animals: sound loudness value at frequency of 200 Hz≤-30 dB, at frequency of 750 Hz≤-57 dB, at frequency of 1,000 Hz≤-62 dB, at frequency of 1,400 Hz≤-64 dB, or when sound level is increased to 20 % at control frequency under condition of its attenuation at higher control frequencies. Presence of side effect of mucolytics is stated with attenuation of sound level at any of control frequencies, but at its amplification at higher control frequencies or at amplification of sound level at frequencies of 1,000 and 1,400 Hz in a combination with its weakening to lower ones.

EFFECT: method provides monitoring the effectiveness of therapy of respiratory diseases, timely correction of therapeutic measures by using tracheophonogram.
