FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hot-melt adhesive, more specifically to a hot-melt adhesive, which is used in the field of disposable products, typical examples of which are a paper diaper and napkin. Hot-melt adhesive contains: (A) a thermoplastic block copolymer which is a copolymer of aromatic hydrocarbon based on styrene and a conjugated diene compound; and (B) an amorphous wax modified with a carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic acid anhydride. Amorphous wax is contained in the hot-melt adhesive in amount of 2–7 pts.wt. in terms of 100 pts.wt total weight of thermoplastic block copolymer (A) and amorphous wax (B). This hot-melt adhesive can be used so that to produce a disposable product.
EFFECT: hot-melt adhesive is excellent in applicability at low temperature in the range from about 140 °C to approximately 150 °C and excellent in wetting resistance to creep, can reduce odour, is excellent in initial strength of adhesion and has excellent adhesion property (resistance to delamination) with respect to olefin substrate.
