Trunk lid structure for a vehicle having a seat comprises a housing, a trunk lid retractor mechanism and a trunk lid. Trunk lid includes built-in storage compartment, formed by flexible storage mesh, which hangs from back side of trunk lid. Trunk lid also comprises a valve and opening for built-in storage compartment. Trunk lid moves between storage position and cargo concealment position. Method of providing an additional place of storage of small objects in the trunk of a vehicle having a rear seat, in which a retractable trunk lid is movable between a storage position and a cargo concealment position. Folding storage compartment is folded when the boot lid is in the cargo concealment position. Providing flexible mesh for storage by resilient material.
EFFECT: enabling easy access to an additional storage point.
