FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the metallurgy, namely to the blast-furnace process. Proposed is a method for pulverized coal fuel injection into a blast furnace through tuyeres, involving the following stages: modified pulverized coal fuel formation having specific surface area within range of 2 m2/g or more to 1,000 m2/g or less, lower heat of combustion of 27,170 kJ/kg or more, and content of volatile substances in range of 3 wt% or more to 25 wt% or less, controlling moisture content and volatile substances in coal; and dust-coal fuel blowing through tuyeres of blast furnace, in which content of modified dust-coal fuel is 10 wt% or more.
EFFECT: operating method of blast furnace allows reducing consumption of reducing agent in blast furnace.
