Coal dust is blown into the blast furnace from the tuyere through a lance simultaneously with the injection of hot air. Providing a weight percentage of coal dust particles with a diameter greater than or equal to 75 microns, equal to 65 wt. % or less of the total amount of coal dust, contributes to the efficient mixing of at least one of the LNG and oxygen, blown from the lance, with coal dust and accelerates the reaction between coal dust and oxygen and / or significantly increases the temperature of coal dust due to the heat of combustion of LNG.

EFFECT: higher combustion temperature is ensured, which ensures reduction in the specific fuel consumption.
