SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dispersed nucleating agent. Described is a dispersed nucleating agent comprising a compound described by the following General Formula (1):

where groups of R1 to R4, in each case independently, are a hydrogen atom and a straight chain or a branched alkyl group having 1 to 9 carbon atoms, R5 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, m is 1 or 2, provided that when m equals 1, then M1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom, and when m equals 2, then M1 is element of 2nd group, Al(OH) or Zn, in which the particle size distribution WA range, measured according to procedure A, and particle size distribution WB, measured according to procedure B, satisfy following expression (I): 0.3≤WA/WB≤13.5 Expression (I), where procedure A is as follows: dispersing air under pressure of 30 psi (0.21 MPa) for stirring is injected into disperse nucleating agent and performing measurement in dry state to determine distribution of particles by sizes of disperse nucleating agent by investigation of suspended in air disperse nucleating agent as object of measurement using laser diffraction particle size analyzer; obtaining a volume-average particle size MvA and a number-average particle size MnA of a dispersed nucleating agent as a particle size distribution measure; WA range of particle size distribution is calculated based on expression WA=MvA/MnA; where procedure B is as follows: dispersed nucleating agent used as measurement object in procedure A is placed in a tray made from aluminum foil and in a state in which to a dispersed nucleating agent in a tray load of 60 g/cm2 is applied, tray is left to stand in a constant temperature thermostat, having a relative humidity of 80 %, at temperature of 40 °C for 24 hours; then, without blowing of dispersing air into disperse nucleating agent, granulometric composition of the dispersed nucleating agent is measured in a dry state, using a dispersed nucleating agent after treatment in a package dispersed in air as a measurement object, using a laser diffraction particle size analyzer; obtaining a volume-average particle size MvB and a number-average particle size MnB of a dispersed nucleating agent as a particle size distribution measure; WB range of particle size distribution is calculated based on the expression WB=MvB/MnB. Also disclosed are a resin composition, a molded article and a method of making the molded article.
EFFECT: improved methods of processability and manufacturing of disperse nucleating agent during the process of heating.
