FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in making hysteresis motor rotors from magnetically hard powder alloys. Powdered isotropic magnetic-hard material of iron-chrome-cobalt system contains: 22.5 wt% chrome, 15 wt% of cobalt, 1 wt% silicon, 2–4 wt% molybdenum or 1.5–2 wt% molybdenum and 1.5–2 wt% of tungsten, the rest – iron. Compression is performed in closed steel mold at 600 MPa, sintered at 1,350 °C in vacuum 10-2 Pa for 2 hours. After sintering, quenching and stepwise aging at temperature 620 °C, 580 °C, 560 °C, 540 °C, 520 °C with holding for 15–45 minutes at each temperature and cooling in water after each exposure.
EFFECT: high magnetic hysteresis characteristics of magnetically hard alloys and shorter duration of heat treatment.
