FIELD: calculating; counting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computing equipment for processing an audio signal. Technical result is achieved by determining the level of the volume of the initial outgoing audio signal; comparing the volume level with a threshold value; based on comparison, controlling reproduction of initial outgoing audio signal by selective execution: (i) in response to the fact that the volume level is lower than the threshold value, transmitting the identical audio signal to each of the speakers for reproduction of the modified outgoing audio signal, wherein the modified outgoing audio signal is the outgoing mono signal; and (ii) in response to the volume level exceeding the threshold value, transmitting corresponding audio signals to the speakers for reproducing the modified outgoing audio signal, wherein the corresponding audio signals differ from each other, and the modified outgoing audio signal is the outgoing stereo signal.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of modification accuracy of initial outgoing audio signal.
