FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a plate heat exchanger for operation inside isothermal chemical reactors, comprising several heat exchange plates (1), having a substantially rectangular shape and having two walls (2, 3) connected to each other along their perimeter, each plate has a corresponding first manifold for supplying heat carrier to the plate, and a corresponding second header for removing heat carrier from the plate, wherein first manifold and second manifold are attached to opposite sides of said plate, and end surfaces of at least one (10, 30) first header or second collector are planar and parallel to corresponding planar end parts (12, 13) of plate, thereby forming flat and parallel surfaces for automated welding.
EFFECT: disclosed is a plate heat exchanger for chemical reactors with automatically welded headers.
