FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary internal combustion engines. Proposed engine comprises stator with inlet and outlet openings, holes for ignition plugs and working chambers for intake and compression of fuel-air mix alternating with working chambers for expansion and removal of combustion products. On the shaft the cylindrical rotor is rigidly fixed with longitudinal slots, in which the blades are installed. Combustion chambers are made on its cylindrical surface between slots. Engine has side walls, front and rear bearing shields. According to the invention, the side walls are made composite of two parts rotating synchronously with the rotor, one of which is rigidly connected to the rotor and has an external conical surface, a smaller base facing the rotor side, and second one side adjoins end surface of stator and on other side has cylindrical projection acting as outer shell. In assembled form between said parts there formed is slotted wedge converging outward, into which seizing balls are inserted by springs, which prevent opening of joint in stator – side wall pair.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency due to reduction of friction losses.
