Method comprises receiving from user a request for application in application store, which have card ʺapplication-optionsʺ, identifying functionalities, modes or elements of application content, determining applications having functionalities, modes or content elements relevant to the received request, present certain applications for the user to make a selection, receive a user selection of the presented functionalities, modes or elements of content, individually setting up one of applications associated with presented functionality, modes or elements of content by providing selected mode for application as default mode during application execution, adaptation of the user interface of the application, configuration of the selected content item as a default content item for the application during execution and providing the user with a customized application.

EFFECT: technical result consists in automation of applications tuning.
