SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a steering column assembly and a steering column support of a vehicle and a method of connecting the steering column with a support. Steering column assembly 1 is made with possibility of connection with transverse beam and comprises guide device 5 and hold device 6. Column contains housing 19 and centering end 18. Assembly comprises suspension device 25 configured to suspend column 2 on guide device link 8, and opening 9 on hold device 6 configured to receive a portion of centering end 18 of column 2. Aperture is limited from the first side by the support edge. Retaining device 6 comprises, on second side of opening 9 diametrically opposite to first side, limiting collar extending in front of opening 9 in direction of link 8 to make stop for centering end 18 during changes in inclination of column 2.
EFFECT: simplified method of installing steering column.
