FIELD: steam generation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steam generation system. System (1) for steam generation comprises: wall structure (3) forming steam chamber (3A); hole (4) formed on wall section (3B) of wall (3) structure; and cover element (5) interacting with wall portion (3B) so that cover element (5) can be in first position (P1), in which cover element (5) closes opening (4), and second position (P2), in which cover element (5) does not close hole (4). Hole (4) has cross-sectional surface making at least 50 % of cross-section surface area of wall section (3B), and wherein cover element (5) comprises flat plate (16) provided with multiple openings (6A) for feeding steam from steam chamber (3A), wherein plurality of openings (6A) form steam outlet (6); and nozzle (7A), wherein outlet (6) for steam and nozzle (7A) are arranged such that when cover element (5) is in first position (P1), outlet (6) for steam is facing opening (4), and nozzle (7A) communicates via fluid hole (4) with outlet (6) for steam to form a passage configured to direct steam from steam chamber (3A) to outlet (6) for steam.
