FIELD: device for heating an aerosolized material.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an assembly for use in conjunction with a device for heating an aerosolized material in order to vaporize at least one component of the aerosolized material and to a system containing such a device for heating an aerosolized material in order to vaporize at least one component of the aerosolized material. An assembly for use in a device for heating an aerosolized material comprises: a structure forming an opening through which an aerosolized material can be inserted into the device in a removable manner; a cover connected to said structure and movable between an open position in which access to the hole is not restricted and a closed position in which access to the hole is restricted; and a locking device that, in use, is configured to hold the lid in at least one of an open position and a closed position when the lid is in the open position or the closed position until an external force is applied to release the locking device.

EFFECT: provision of improved heating elements for use in conjunction with a device for heating an aerosolized material.
