FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lyophilised compositions of active agents, particularly TAT-NR2B9c, in form of a chloride salt, wherein more than 99 % of anions in the salt are chloride. Chloride salt TAT-NR2B9c demonstrates improved stability compared to form of acetate salt of earlier known compositions. TAT-NR2B9c chloride salt formulations are stable at ambient temperature, which thus facilitates delivery of such composition in ambulances for introduction on the site of the disease or accident or during transportation to a hospital.
EFFECT: composition TAT-NR2B9c demonstrated potential for treating stroke, aneurysm, subarachnoid haemorrhage and other neurological or neurotraumatic conditions.
