FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of biotechnology, specifically, to compositions based on saposin C, and can be used in medicine for treating cancer. Proposed is a pharmaceutical composition containing a polypeptide with SEQ ID NO: 1, including from zero to four amino acid inserts, substitutions, or deletions; a phosphatidyl serine lipid; a buffer with a pH in the range from 5.0 to 8 at a concentration of 10 to 50 mM; trehalose at a concentration of 1.5 to 9% (wt./vol.); and water. The polypeptide is therein taken in a concentration of 0.4 to 5 mg/ml, and the molar ratio of the phosphatidyl serine lipid to the polypeptide is in the range from 8:1 to 20:1.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the stability and purity of lyophilised compositions of SapC-DOPS nanovesicles preserving the therapeutic activity of saposin C after storage.
