SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to vegetable growing, and can be used in cultivation of vegetable crops. Method of mulching vegetable crops, including sideration, mulching plants on shoots, characterized by that in autumn one-year shaftal clover is sown, and in spring during its growing elevated mass is mown, covering with a layer of zeolite-containing clay alanite in amount of 3–5 t/ha, mixed with minced cones coniferous species in amount of 8–10 kg/ha, preliminarily soaked in calcium- and magnesium-containing mineral water in amount of 50–60 l/ha at 2–3 hours exposure, and the obtained mass is plowed into the soil of the prospective vegetable crops rows, and the remaining mass is used for mulching the emerged seedlings of the sown plants.

EFFECT: method allows to increase productivity and quality of vegetable crops.
