FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises planting fruit crops on terraces taking into account their biological features. The fruit and berry crops are placed on the terraces, alternating tree and shrub species taking into account their adaptation to changes of daily temperatures, with the inter-row spacing of 5-6 m, placing them from the upper slopes, starting from a height of 1600-1800 meters above sea level. Apple, pear, plum, quince, apricot, peach are placed down the slope, and dogwood, wild rose, hawthorn, raspberry, currant are planted between them from the upper part of the slope. In the year of the garden establishing, between the rows of fruit and berry crops the nectareous annual grasses phacelia and annual strawberry clover are sown, the seeds of which are mixed with crushed zeolite-containing clay alanite in the ratio of 1:2. At the end of vegetation the above-ground mass is mowed, using it as mulch of the planted fruit and berry crops.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce significantly the erosion processes on slope lands and to improve the orchard.
