FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the biotechnology. Described is an isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising i) a nucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide having cannabichromenic acid synthase activity with the sequence SEQ ID NO: 2 or 6, or polypeptide having at least 96 % identical to SEQ ID NO: 2 or 6 sequence, or ii) a nucleotide sequence identical to at least 96 % SEQ ID NO: 1, 5 or 8, or 9 and a coding polypeptide having cannabichromenic acid synthase activity. Disclosed is an expression system in vitro and an expressing construct, containing such an isolated nucleic acid molecule. Described also is an isolated polypeptide having cannabichromenic acid synthase activity, comprising an amino acid sequence identical to SEQ ID NO: 2 or 6, wholly or its fragment by at least 96 %.
EFFECT: polypeptides can be used in vivo or in vitro for production of cannabinoid compounds.
