MULTIPLE ARMING SAFETY MECHANISM Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F42C15/40 F42C11/00

Abstract RU 2708424 C1

FIELD: military equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment, namely to safety mechanisms used in pyrotechnics, which are used in missiles of various purposes for ignition of solid-propellant engines, gas generators, separation of units, etc. Said mechanisms can be used in various fuze devices armed by electric command. Safety mechanism comprises housing with top and bottom covers, in which rotary rotor with permanent magnet and magnetic conductor made of two parallel electromagnets with protruding cores, axes of which are parallel to axis of rotation of armature and equidistant from it are installed. Upper cover is made of diamagnetic material while bottom cover is made from ferromagnetic material. Cores of the electromagnets are made of a ferromagnetic material coated with a diamagnetic material. In the housing there is a tray with holes, as well as bushings of diamagnetic material, which are connected to the upper and lower covers by means of screws from ferromagnetic material. In the rotary rotor channels are made, which in the service position of the mechanism are not matched with holes in the tray, and in the armed position – are combined, forming a channel for the fire circuit between the initiator and the charge. Besides, the safety mechanism contains arming and return control device in the form of two reed relays placed in the shoe installed at one of the permanent magnet poles. Permanent magnet in extreme positions adjoins cores of electromagnets and bushings with screws, fixing it in armed or service position.

EFFECT: on the basis of the invention, a safety mechanism of multiple arming with reduced dimensions and weight is developed, manufactured and tested, with possibility of monitoring service (uncharged) and armed position and high reliability and resistance to vibration of vibro-impact loads.
