APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ABDOMINAL ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL SIGNAL Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/24 A61B5/408 A61B5/444

Abstract RU 2708452 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to abdominal detection of maternal and/or foetal electrophysiological signals. Electrode pad comprises a flexible substrate interconnecting the electrodes and a unit of the module for detachable coupling with an electronic reading device for detecting the maternal and/or foetal electrophysiological signal on the electrodes. Module unit comprises mechanical module unit for detachable mechanical interface with reader housing and unit of electric module for creation of electric connection of electrodes with reading device. Coupling of the lining with the reader includes interface with both the mechanical module unit and the electric module unit. Security device of the pad to provide an electronic reader with an authentication code associated with the pad prevents the use of a reading device with a pad which does not contain a security device, or with a pad which provides an incorrect authentication code. Electronic reading device is configured to amplify and filter signals from strap electrodes and comprises a power supply and a housing. Housing mechanical module unit provides mechanical interface with the pad mechanical module unit. Electric module of the housing provides electric connection to the block of the electric module of the pad. Station for receiving information from a reading device has a display for displaying foetal heart rate, foetal ECG, maternal heart rate, maternal ECG and uterine activity, as well as a docking area for housing the reading device. Charging device of the docking part provides charging of the power supply source of the reading device. System for abdominal electrophysiological detection is provided with a waterproof seal for electrical connection between the module unit and the electronic reading device.

EFFECT: preventing the use of an erroneous strap, which is directly, mechanically and electrically, connected to the reading device.
