SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump engineering. Vertical single-stage centrifugal electrical pump unit comprises vertical centrifugal pump, drive motor, connecting coupling closed by protective guard and connecting shafts of pump and electric motor, and supply pipeline. Rotor in the pump consists of a double-support rotor, one support being made as a plain bearing. Rotor has holes to equalize pressure and two slot seals are installed. Connecting coupling is attached to the pump by means of conical clamping element. Pump shaft drive end is cylindrical and smooth. Sliding bearing is installed in front of the inlet funnel of the impeller, the housing of the sliding bearing is made with separating guides, which guide the flow of pumped liquid axisymmetrically to the input of the impeller, with partitions. Other support is made in the form of a block of rolling bearings installed behind the impeller.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving operating reliability of vertical single-stage centrifugal electrical pump units.
