FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for conversion of AC into DC. Two diode or thyristor bridges are connected in series. Bridges are powered by transformers. Novelty of the invention is that the primary winding of the first transformer is intended for connection to two phases of the network, and the second one – to the third phase and zero wire.
EFFECT: possibility of using transformer windings without middle point to create phase shift.
