FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing an ammoxidation catalyst and a method of producing acrylonitrile. Method of producing the ammonoxidation catalyst involves a step for preparing a precursor suspension which is a catalyst precursor, a step for drying to obtain dry particles from a precursor suspension and a calcination step involving calcination of dry particles. Stage of obtaining a suspension of precursor is a step of mixing a second solution or suspension containing at least bismuth and iron, with a first solution or suspension containing at least molybdenum to obtain a suspension of the precursor, pH of the first solution or suspension before mixing with the second solution or suspension is in range of 5.5–7.0, pH of the first solution or suspension after mixing with the second solution or suspension is in range of 0.1–1.9, and time, during which pH of the mixture passes through range of 4.0–2.0 when mixing the second solution or suspension, is 1–70 s.

EFFECT: technical result is high output of acrylonitrile.
