FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: manufacturing method of inner thermal protective coating of rocket engine housing involves layer-by-layer application of thermal protective coating layers to rigid mandrel and installation of rubber-coated flange. Then, rigid metal element with profile evenly spaced relative to the profile of ready-made item is installed on pack of materials of thermal protective coating in the zone of flange through separating layer from thin capron fabric. Rigid metal element includes two metal semi-rings enclosing the flange neck and metal ring butt joint to semi-rings. Then, curing is performed in hydroclave at heating and under pressure on the surface of the obtained pack through vacuum bag. After cooling, vacuum bag, rigid metal element and separating layer is removed.
EFFECT: higher manufacturing quality of inner thermal protective coating.
