FIELD: personal protection equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective helmets or helmets, which are intended preferably for use in labor protection and safety. Protective helmet includes housing and internal equipment for impact energy absorption. On both sides of the housing, at the point of connection of the bearing tape of the internal equipment with the control rack of the head support, a fixing button is installed. Button is made in form of washer, on one side of which along its axis there is a T-shaped element for engagement with adjustable rack. On the carrying band there is a button hole for the button located on the rack. Lock contains two stops and two fixing teeth interacting with the T-shaped element of the washer. Adjusting rack is made in the form of a plate with a longitudinal inner cutout and teeth on one of its sides and on the end of the plate with button lock.

EFFECT: reliable fixation of the helmet on the user's head, ease of adjustment of the head attachment of the device during operation.
