FIELD: safety engineering, in particular, means of protection of the human head against impacts.

SUBSTANCE: the protective helmet has a body and an inner attachment, which is provided with an additional component located in the top part of the body. This component represents a flexible plate with slots for fastening of the shock absorber beams. The shock absorber beams are made in the form of a pair of belts fastened by one ends on the body, and by the others - in two adjacent points of fastening on the additional component, equidistant from the axis of symmetry passing through the point of fastening on the body and the center of the additional component. The belt shock absorber forms a four-point star-shaped configuration.

EFFECT: enhanced shock-absorbing properties of the helmet and convenience of its wearing.
