FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry, particularly, to gas turbines of compressor plants gas pumping units. Methane-containing mixture of natural gas and air from compressor of gas turbine plant, compressed in jet compressor, is heated in convective heater by heat of exhaust gases of gas turbine and is directed to catalytic reactor, which serves as generator of synthesis gas and located in cooling jacket of combustion chamber. Mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide obtained is fed into the combustion chamber, which enables to several times reduce content of hazardous substances in exhaust gases, significantly improve environmental and economic characteristics of the gas compressor unit.

EFFECT: this technical solution allows increasing intensity of heat exchange and cooling of gas in the coil of the gas cooler, and also simplifying and cheapening the design of the device.
