Method involves static installation of a convex reflecting surface or its equivalent with a fixed orientation above the target area for reflection of the obtained sunlight vertically or inclined downwards on plants located in the target area. Apparatus comprises convex reflecting surface or its equivalent adapted for installation with fixed orientation above target area to reflect obtained sunlight vertically or inclined downward to target area. Maximum and minimum inclinations and/or radius of curvature of the reflecting surface vary with a compass direction.
EFFECT: invention prolongs the duration of daylight in the target area.
