METHOD OF PREVENTING COLIBACILLOSIS IN CALVES Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61K39/00

Abstract RU 2810134 C1

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is a method of prevention of colibacillosis in calves, including double intramuscular administration of a vaccine against animal colibacillosis to cows 1.5–2 months before delivery with the simultaneous use of tissue biostimulator ASD-2f in a ratio of trivit 1:10: the first dose is 10 cm3, the second dose is 15 cm3, which is administered intramuscularly at a dose of 10.0 ml/head. Colostrum from cows in the experimental group has high protective properties, since the content of immunoglobulin G was significantly higher than in the control groups. In seven-day-old calves born from mothers who received the vaccine + ASDf2 with Trivit, the indicators of cellular and humoral immunity were significantly higher compared to those in calves of the second group (vaccine) and the third group (unvaccinated).

EFFECT: when applying the proposed method of the prevention of colibacillosis, 100% birth rate and safety of calves were obtained.
