FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a clamp band, which consists of tightening strap (10), both end sections (11, 12) of which in the closed state of the clamp band are overlapped relative to each other. Tab (13) located on internal section (11) of the strip located in an overlap enters channel (17) of the tongue provided on the overlapped external area (12) of the strip, the shape of which complements the shape of tab (13). Tab (13) comprises root section (21), on which its width measured in axial direction of clamp band decreases from full width of clamp band to smaller value, as well as end section (20) adjoining to root section (21), on which its width invariably has smaller value.

EFFECT: invention provides infinitely variable clamp band.
