SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in supercharged internal combustion engines. Diagnostics method consists in partial opening of pressure control (163) of supercharging pressure and control of recirculation valve (47) of compressor (162) in closed position in response to diagnostic request. Step-by-step opening of compressor recirculation valve (47) is provided after closing recirculation valve (47) of compressor. Displacement of the air flow rate is controlled through recirculation valve (47) of the compressor in response to the change in pressure (163) of the boost pressure during stepwise opening of recirculation valve (47) of the compressor from the closed position. Compressor recirculation valve (47) is controlled in response to the air flow rate offset. Disclosed is embodiment of diagnostic method and engine system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of engine air flow at low levels of torque demanded by driver.
