FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in supercharged internal combustion engines. Method for engine (10) consists in that position of inlet throttle (20) is changed if pressure of exhaust gases before turbine (18) exceeds threshold pressure, without reduction of level of supercharging and without change of phases of gas distribution of valves (62), (64). Underlying threshold pressure is pressure at which forced opening of closed outlet valve (64) occurs. Version of the method for the engine and an engine system are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of risk of anomalous combustion events due to excessive back pressure of exhaust gases.
