FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in supercharged internal combustion engines. Diagnostic method consists in partially opening valve (163) of supercharging pressure control and switching valve (47) of recirculation compressor (162) in closed position in response to diagnostic request. Valve (47) of recirculation of compressor after its closing is opened stepwise. Displacement of the air flow rate through the compressor recirculation valve (47) is corrected in response to the change in the control parameter during the stepwise opening of the compressor recirculation valve (47) from the closed position. Compressor recirculation valve (47) is controlled in accordance with the air flow rate offset. Disclosed is embodiment of diagnostic method and engine system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of engine inlet pressure control even in case deposits are formed in compressor recirculation valve.
