FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of multilayered large-size metal sheets. Metal packet is assembled taking into account coefficient of non-uniformity of deformation of clad layer and base metal along thickness, width and length: B(L) = 1/2K2H0, where B(L) is process tolerance value by width or length, K is coefficient of non-uniformity of deformation along thickness of plating layer and base metal, H0 Is the thickness of the clad layer. Layers of the metal pack are connected along the perimeter with a weld seam, the metal package is blown with an inert gas, forced and hot-rolled with a welded-off seam. Assembled metal pack is blown with inert gas through an air channel made from the end face of the main metal, which is communicated with the space between the base metal and the clad layer. Plating layer in gas-filled package at heating and rolling is located from above or from below taking into account coefficient of non-uniformity of deformation. Performing controlled rolling with absolute reduction in the first pass equal to H0, but not more than 2H0. At the end of reduction there provided is accelerated output of inert gas residues from the metal package.

EFFECT: method provides higher homogeneity and strength of adhesion of the main and clad layers.
