FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an installation and a method for regenerating methanol and can be used for controlling hydration during production, transportation and storage of hydrocarbon gas, as well as in areas where methanol is used as a base for producing fuel or formaldehyde resins. Installation 1 for regeneration of methanol contains input 62 for supply of water-methanol solution subject to regeneration, input 21 for supply of hydrocarbon gas, output 51 for distribution of regenerated methanol in gas form, compressor 2 configured to compress hydrocarbon gas, rectification tower 3 having input 32 for supply of hydrocarbon gas coming from compressor 2, supply input 31 and output 34 for rectification product discharge, cooling device 4 for cooling the rectification product coming out of rectification column 3, in-pipe separator 5 for separating the product leaving cooling device 4 into gas and gas-liquid phases, output for gas phase flow of which represents outlet 51 for dispensing from regenerated methanol plant, ejector 6 for mixing of two streams supplied to its inputs 61, 62, wherein input 62 is input 21 of plant 1, inlet 61 is connected to outlet of in-pipe separator 5, and outlet of ejector is connected to inlet 31 of rectification column 3, wherein rectification column 3, cooling device 4, in-pipe separator 5 and ejector 6 are combined into circulation circuit.

EFFECT: invention increases productivity and efficiency of methanol recovery and reduces power consumption.
