FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a core for compression molding of plastic material for production of covers for containers sealing. Male die has a rod made of steel and a head made from a copper alloy which is screwed to said rod, wherein the boundary between said stem and head comprises a gas passage reaching the male die end surface, limiting molding cavity, in which plastic material is subjected to compression molding, wherein one channel is provided, which extends inside said head and communicates with said gas passage, providing gas outlet from the molding cavity.
EFFECT: invention provides improved quality of molded article due to higher efficiency of mold cooling.
