FIELD: moulding manufacturing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to a mould, a moulding machine and a method for manufacturing a cap. A mould for making caps with a tear-off membrane in a direct compression moulding machine comprises a male matrix element containing a first stop surface and a female matrix element movable relative to each other along the moulding direction. The mould is configured to be positioned between a closed configuration, in which the male matrix element and the female matrix element are in contact with each other, and an open configuration, in which the male matrix element and the female matrix element are spaced from each other. The enclosing matrix element contains the first block, the second block and the third block, aligned with each other and configured to move along the moulding direction, the first spring located between the first block and the second block, and the second spring located between the second block and the third block and made with the possibility of applying an opening force along the moulding direction. The first spring is configured to apply a closing force along the forming direction to keep the second block and the first block in contact with each other when no other forces are applied.
EFFECT: group of inventions improves the quality of the products obtained.
